A cost-effective way to travel from Rome to Bari would be by fast train if you prefer to start and or end in Rome. Some guests like to allow one travel day and this is recommended.

Traveling by train is the most straightforward way to reach Puglia from Rome. High-speed trains arrive at the northern capital of Bari in under four hours. With Trenitalia’s direct, high-speed Frecce line connecting the region’s larger cities. Trains leave from Rome’s central Termini station and reach Bari in 4, Brindisi in 5.

If you prefer to fly into Rome and then take a flight from Rome to Bari, many Airlines enable you to purchase your Airline ticket to Bari or Brindisi through Rome and you would stop over in Rome and take another flight from Rome to Bari or Brindisi through a partner Airline in Europe. Flying is the fastest option, with budget carriers serving routes into Bari and Brindisi,

Whether you take two flights or a flight and a train, just ensure to allow for enough time to connect. I like to allow one travel day and stay in Rome for one night and then either fly to Bari or Brindisi or take the fast train to Bari. Keep in mind that Bari has more frequent flight options then Brindisi as it is a bigger airport

TRAVEL:

Located in the heart of Valle d'Itria in the territory of central Puglia, Ottolire Resort is just outside of the picturesque town of Locorotondo

The Resort is about 65 km from Brindisi Papola Casale airport and about 80 km from Bari Palese airport.

AIRPORTS: Brindisi Salento Airport (BDS), Bari Karol Wojtyła Airport (BRI)

Airport transfers can be arranged and split between guests at arrival and departure. Once you are booked we will provide the Masseria with our arrival information and we can arrange with them on arrival for split transportation to Resort. On departure you can also arrange with the Masseria to travel back to Airport or next destination.

Departure transportation on check out day is also not included but depending on your next destination, we can make recommendations for you to easily pre-arrange your departure through the Masseria.

  Guest Cancellation Policy

  Yogidioms does not offer refunds under any circumstances. Deposits are 100% non-refundable and the remaining percentage, minus fees, dependent on the number of days, will be issued as a store credit. We do not offer refunds under any circumstances.

  75 days before 

  If you cancel 75 or less days before your retreat start date, your entire payment is non-refundable. Unfortunately, there are no exceptions to our Cancellation and reservation policy as we are responsible for your payments and it is challenging to fill this space with short notice. You can transfer your Retreat to someone else and send in your place as an option but we are not responsible for this replacement.

  If you do not pay final amount within designated time or discuss alternative payments with us, Yogidioms will need to cancel your reservation. 

  We do not offer credit or partial refunds if you arrive to the scheduled holiday late or need to leave early.

• Full balance due 75 days before start date of Retreat

• Cancellation requests submitted after balance due date and before and including 75 days before retreat start date, 50% of total amount (less deposit) will be put as a credit toward another Retreat within 12 months

• Any refund credits allowed will incur a 3% processing fee.

  Guest Responsibility
  The acceptance of a verbal or written confirmation from YOGIDIOMS (Josephine Gintoli) constitutes your agreement of the terms and conditions listed herein.

  Participants are responsible to be adequately insured, therefore Traveler’s Insurance is strongly recommended. YOGIDIOMS assumes no responsibility nor liability for any delay, loss, damage, injury or accident with regards to persons or property which may be caused by fault or negligence of any third party vendor. This includes hotels, transportation providers, excursions and local operators participating in part for our services. YOGIDIOMS and its staff will be held harmless for any expense caused by injury or accident, to any participants as well as any loss or damage of personal items while on  our tours. 

  We reserve the right to make any changes to services and itineraries, with or without notice, which may become necessary.

  YOGIDIOMS, its affiliates, accommodations, partners, third party vendors, and tour providers cannot be held responsible for events that are outside of our control. There are no refunds as per our cancellation policies.  

  We highly recommend that all of our guests secure an insurance policy that will cover them for ANY event which may cause for a change of travel plans, or for ANY unfortunate event (‘force majeure’) including but of course not limited to:

  – Transportation delays, cancellations or changes due to strikes, labor disputes, or lockouts from airlines, boats, ferries or any type of transportation

   – Any inconvenience or complication caused by bad weather (storms, floods, hurricanes, etc)

   – Government/political actions, events or situations; threats or acts of terrorism, acts of war or declared war.

   – Personal health issues or personal situations in general which may affect travel plans

   – Any loss, theft or damage of personal items at any stage of your trip

   – Any accident causing injury during any stage of your trip

  –  This is why we require purchasing travel insurance

  YOGIDIOMS Cancellation

  We hope this never happens, but if YOGIDIOMS has to cancel a scheduled holiday (political unrest, low sign-ups, unsafe conditions), you may transfer your full payment to another holiday within 24 months. We reserve the right to cancel any YOGIDIOMS Holiday due to inadequate participation. In this case you will be notified within 75 days of the holiday start date. YOGIDIOMS is not responsible for any external expenses incurred in preparation for any cancelled holiday including airline tickets, loss of work or any other costs associated in preparing for the trip.

  This is why we recommend purchasing travel insurance and encourage our clients to purchase “cancel for any reason” to protect them against the rare chance of cancellation. This is stated before filling out Reservation Form to understand our policy.

  YOGIDIOMS Liability

  Participation in YOGIDIOMS classes includes, but is not limited to, participation in, and performing various Yoga postures. Yoga and physical exercise is an individual experience. I understand that in Yoga and in any other exercise class, I will progress at my own pace. If at any point I feel overexertion or fatigue, I will respect my own body’s limitations and I will rest before continuing Yoga or any other exercise.

  By signing up for a yoga holiday I acknowledge that participation in Yogidioms classes or any other voluntary activity during the Yogidioms Holiday exposes me to a possible risk of personal injury. I am fully aware of this risk and hereby release Yogidioms Yoga Holidays, Josie Gintoli and / or any other persons who may teach with Yogidioms Yoga Holidays, from any and all liability, negligence, or other claims, arising from, or in any way connected, with my participation in Yogidioms Yoga Holidays.

  Covid-19 Policy
  It is the responsibility of the participant to check on Italy's travel requirements for their country of origin in light of Covid and take necessary steps to ensure entry requirements are met and if entry requirements change and require vaccination then the participant will need to refer to the cancellation terms.

  All travelers will be required to fill out and sign our Liability Waiver form.

  I understand that Yogidioms Yoga Holidays has stated that Travel insurance is required and it is my responsibility to purchase an appropriate policy.
